Smoking Ban

I'm not a smoker. As a matter of fact, I think it is a smelly, unhealthy habit.

It turns out that Fidel Castro has decided to ban smoking in public areas.

I think it is interesting to see the similarities between this communist government's position on smoking versus the positions of liberal areas of the United States on the same subject.

Why do some believe that an individuals choice to smoke is the moral question of the day, instead of say..... the fight against terrorism? And I also wonder if these people who want to remove one's choice to smoke are "pro choice" when it comes to terminating babies in a mother's womb?

..and lastly, do you think Fidel Castro will stop smoking his cigars in public places?
