Nice Try

Before anyone gets their hopes up about the "latest" "news" concerning missing explosives in Iraq. Please read this. Please note that this is a CNN report.

It seems that the New York Times beat CBS in reporting a re-hashed non-story in hopes of de-railing the Bush/Cheney freight train that is due to arrive on November 2nd!

How many Americans fall for these obvious ploys by the leftist media? ......that's a rhetorical question.....

Okay, I did take notice of you having noted this as a rhetorical question,
but can I answer anyway?

If we look at the last presidential election then the answer is millions. If it were otherwise then the polls would change drastically in favor of GWB every time it is discovered that Kerry has exaggerated the truth or out right lied.

he fact is most people do not care. Remember JFK, "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country" (or something to that affect).

Well, most people now want to know what their country can do for them. They are not interested in what they can do for the country. They are not interested in the country period beyond what they can get from it.

It is this kind of thinking that has lead to the divide we have since the big group hug after 9/11. Millions upon millions of Americans want to put 9/11 behind us as there are more important things such as a bigger pay check.

Trust me, I could use a bigger pay check but I am more interested in where this nation is bound as far as it's realtionship with God and our safety as a nation.

On another of your topics Bruce asked about sending our children to war. I want to destroy the terrorist now so that my kids won't have to worry about going to war against them.

Okay, that is my answer to your rhetorical question :-)
Sorry if I got a little excited there and drfited about and perhaps didn't make a whole lot of sense because of the drifting.
